De Ceglie And Giovinco: "We're Fired Up"
On the day when they should have been fighting for an Olympic medal in Beijing, Paolo De Ceglie and Sebastian Giovinco have officially begun their adventure at Juventus for the 2008/09 season.
With the adventure in China over before time – and not without regrets – due to the defeat in the quarter finals suffered at the hands of Belgium (who were defeated comprehensively by Nigeria today, who will be playing the Final against Argentina), the two boys joined up with their team mate Claudio Marchisio and with the rest of the group today.
It was really the first day of work for Paolo and Sebastian, and they showed how eager they are to do well and quickly forget how their adventure with the National Olympic team ended.
"First of all I have to say we're all really sorry for how it went – De Ceglie confessed when interviewed by Juventus Channel -, we would've wanted to go all the way. Now I jump back into things here at Juve and I'm really eager and enthusiastic. I was able to follow the team from China and I watched the wide and well-deserved win my team mates got against Artmedia".
The same concepts were reinforced by Giovinco speaking with the Juve-themed TV station’s journalist.
"It didn't go as we wanted it to at the Olympics and it's a real shame. I'll try and make up for it here. I know it'll be a long and very tough season, but I'm really fired up now and I'll try and gain some space for myself in this team made up of huge stars".
