Five Bianconeri Called Up By Italy

Italy's Manager Marcello Lippi has called up five Juventus players again for the two upcoming World Cup qualifiers. Gianluigi Buffon, Nicola Legrottaglie, Mauro German Camoranesi, Vincenzo Iaquinta and Alessandro Del Piero were named in the squad for the games against Cyprus and Georgia, just like they were for the recent friendly against Austria.

The five Azzurri won't be the only players missing in Vinovo in the next ten days. Claudio Ranieri will also have to do without Italian Under 21s Paolo De Ceglie, Sebastian Giovinco and Claudio Marchisio, as well as the Austrian keeper Alex Manninger, Zdenek Grygera, called up by the Czech Republic, Swedes Olof Mellberg (called up by the first team) and Albin Ekdal (Under 21), Christian Poulsen (Denmark), Dario Knezevic (Croatia), and Momo Sissoko (Mali); all these players will be away right up to the days just before the game against Udinese on Sunday September 14th.
