It's a different season, but the feelings coming out of the Artemio Franchi are the same as last year. Juve did well and would've deserved a win, but in the end only gained one point. Last year it was a Mutu penalty, this time a personal effort by Gilardino. Claudio Ranieri has something to recriminate about yet again.
These were the Manager's remarks after the match: "We accept the draw but it's disappointing for us. We'd controlled the game and had chances to finish it off with Amauri and Del Piero. Shame about that goal we conceded, an experienced team such as ours can't concede a goal like that, even if Gilardino did well with one of his typical moves"."At the end we tried to win it instead of slowing the pace down. In any case I'm pleased with how the lads played and for how they interpreted the game play. I liked the new signings, they showed they've settled in immediately, that's another reason I'm happy about the work we've done so far".
