Chiellini: "Now We Need Two Victories"
"It’s a difficult championship, but I think we can do better then last year. We are playing well, even though last Saturday we saw that there is still something missing for us to be in lien with the top teams".
Giorgio Chiellini, guest of Filo Diretto on Juventus Channel, spoke of the bianconeri’s moment before answering the questions made by the fans. With the Zenit match put aside, once again its Serie A time.
Against Reggina the return to victory is essential and for this to be achieved it is necessary to be incisive in the attack and strong in the defence just like in Saint Petersburg:
"The fact that we hardly allow our opponents any occasions is a team effort, not only a defensive one. At the beginning of the season we were missing passes but now we are doing well. What really counts now is winning the next two matches to remain at the heels of the leaders and reach the Christmas break with the least margin possible".
An immediate come-back following the defeat at San Siro could be seen in the great performance in Russia but this is not enough for Giorgio Chiellini:
"I would have been happy to do what Inter did: win the direct encounter and lose against Zenit. Anyway, now we must think of Reggina. We must be concentrated, but in any case I don’t think there will be the danger of taking the match lightly because we are coming from a defeat and a draw, not from two victories".
