Trezeguet And Tiago With The Group
Good news for Mr. Ranieri: the match against Siena did not leave any injuries and besides today’s training session saw David Trezeguet and Tiago back to work with the group.
The portuguese is now fully recovered whilst the Frenchman yesterday went to Perugia together with Zebina, Knezevic and Salihamidzic. The players underwent medical tests and the results were positive for all.
Trezeguet has been released from the rehabilitation process and can now train progressively with the team. The time for recovery went according to plans and therefore he should be available by the end of January.
Zebina is currently finishing his full immersion physiotherapy period in Florence. At the beginning of next week he will return to Turin and as from then on will be able to return on the field. He is expected to be ready to play by the end of February.
The same time frame in the case of Knezevic who is finishing the delicate physiotherapy period and will soon be able to return on the field for separate training.
Following the friendly in Messina against Monaco, Salihamidzic complained once again of a pain in his left Achilles tendon. Brazzo has been given a particular programme and will be using special plantar. He will undergo physiotherapy this week and should be back to training on the field next week. Improvements have also been registered for Chiellini, Iaquinta and Camoranesi, who will soon be available again.
