Coppa Italia: Tonight At 20:45
After the false steps against Udinese and Cagliari, Juventus has the opportunity to get back on track against Napoli, the team which in October caused the second consecutive defeat for the bianconeri. At that time the season seemed to be ruined but instead the bianconeri had a great victorious run which came to a sudden end a week ago. Now Napoli may be the beginning of another re-birth.
Judging from the last results in the championship, the encounter tonight at the Olimpico will be between two very hungry teams. Juve injured in the league definitely is. Napoli too is very hungry for success after having won only 1 point in the last 4 matches and conceded 3 consecutive defeats against Chievo, Roma and Fiorentina compromising their qualification to the Champions League.
Seeing it from this angle, for Reja’s team the Coppa Italia is not only useful in the sense of gaining back the faith in themselves but it is also a goal to save the season which is still far from being compromised.
Tonight’s match is valid for access to the semi-finals for which Inter, Lazio and Sampdoria have already qualified. The winner between Juventus and Napoli will meet the biancocelesti in a two-leg encounter. The knock-out format in fact comes to an end after the quarter-finals.
At the moment, 10,000 tickets have been sold and therefore there are still tickets available in all sectors. For those who would like to be at the stadium the tickets may be purchased up to kick-off from the authorised sellers or from the ticket booths at the Stadio Olimpico as from 18:30hrs.
Those who cannot be at the Olimpico can follow the match on Rai Uno or on Juventus.com by means of the livematch.
