The Day After
The awakening was even sourer then the moment in which the referee blew the whistle for the end of the match. Juventus exited the competition with dignity and is now ready to start afresh. The championship imposes this and Saturday’s match against Bologna is close. It is also imposed by the team’s character with the team wanting to end the season with some satisfaction which they were unable to reach in Europe.
The team was on the field this morning for a return to normality. Up to the 22nd of April, the day of the return match of the Coppa Italia, there will be no more mid-week matches. The unwinding session saw the absence of Trezeguet and Del Piero who stayed in the gym but most of all of Nedved who suffered a bad blow to the last rib on the left and the conditions of whom will be evaluated day after day.
The team participated in a series of simple runs and ball exercises before leaving space to Camoranesi and De Ceglie who after a number of weeks returned to work on the field on which in the meantime six people returned to talk about last night’s match. Together with Ranieri were Iaquinta, Tiago, Buffon, Mellberg and Marchisio. Tomorrow the team will have another morning session.
