Medical Up-Date: Amauri, Manninger And Trezeguet Injured
During yesterday’s training session, Amauri suffered a lesion to the proximal tendon of the femoral rectum of the right thigh as shown from the x-ray and nuclear magnetic resonance tests undergone. The recovery period prior to a return to training is envisaged to be between 30 and 35 days.
Also, Manninger suffered a muscular injury of the first degree to the internal cuff of the right calf. The period of recovery envisaged is that of about 20 days.
David Trezeguet has been halted by muscle strain to the right thigh and will therefore be unavailable for tomorrow’s match. This injury was diagnosed clinically.
