New Stadium: Construction Site Does Not Close For Holidays
August is the month of holidays, but not at Juventus. There is work on the field and work at the construction sites: the one at the Juventus Center and the one of the new stadium. Both are progressing according to schedule.
While at Vinovo works are close to completion (see article), the place where the new Juventus stadium will rise, work is going strong. With the demolition of the new stadium having been completed a while ago, the other activities are continuing. These activities can be divided into five:
The ground laying operations on the inside of the basin for the building of the slopes on which the steps of the stands of the 1st and 2nd level will rest; the laying of the foundations for the west side (dressing room extension); excavations of the pediment foundations for the tension pullers of the cover; the jet grouting for the strengthening of the ground to bear the foundations of the wafts; the making of (in the factory) of the steel inserts to be inserted in the foundations for the tension pullers of the cover.
