Cannavaro And Grygera At Work
It was an intensive day for the bianconeri who were involved in two training sessions. The first, in the morning saw the team work in the gym and a visit by Italy national coach Marcello Lippi. Present in Vinovo were also Roberto Bettega and Alessio Secco. In the afternoon, the session took place on the field where after a warm-up the team took part in a mini-match.
Fabio Cannavaro and Zdenek Grygera took part in both sessions. The afternoon session was held on the field but avoiding contrasts and wearing protective masks (the ones the Juventus supporters are used to seeing Chiellini wear) which they will also use tomorrow when they join the rest of the group.
Sebastian Giovinco’s return is close following the muscular problems he was suffering of. The player returned to training on the field in the afternoon session, taking part in athletic work.
Camoranesi has definitely recovered from the injury suffered on the 13th of December during the match against Bari: the midfielder, who also reassured the Italy national coach Marcello Lippi with regards to his conditions. He is now getting back to athletic training in view of his return which is foreseeable within two weeks.
Finally, Vincenzo Iaquinta is having a separate athletic preparation in order to re-tone his left thigh muscle and definitely overcome the results of the operation to his knee.
