Lippi: "There Is Quality At Juve"
Marcello Lippi continued his tour of the top Italian teams (yesterday he visited Milanello) stopping in Turin. The national coach spent the morning with players and technical staff and before leaving spoke exclusively on Juventus Channel:
"I will continue on my visits to the teams. Since the last match 2 or 3 months have passed and I wanted to see how the injured players were doing because it is obviously a worry when it comes to the national team. I will watch all the matches until the end of the season and then choose the best".
"Juventus is the club with the most Italian players in the squad and therefore potentially it is the highest provider of players" continued Lippi, who then went on to answer the journalist who noted Amauri’s hope of a call-up: "Everybody hopes, but before hoping Amauri must become Italian. I am speaking only of Italian players".
The coach is therefore looking closely at the championship which at this point in time should already be leaving clear signs: "There’s the derby of Milan which will give a few indications and the other teams like Juventus who must return to a level of performance which is apt for their level. At Juventus there is quality both when it comes to the staff and the players".
