Chiellini: "With A Bit More Luck We Could Have Won"
Tevez and Eto’o, Adebayor and Milito. The long 3 days which were so long awaited are over and the fears have faded. From the away matches in Manchester City and Inter, Juventus emerged with two draws but above all with two excellent performances by the defence.
At the end of the match at the Meazza, before leaving Juventus to join the azzurri, Giorgio Chiellini commented the match by saying:
"It was a correct match played with intensity and a will to win. Everybody gave his heart and soul without exagerating. There were a few fouls but always with maximum respect to the opponents, referee and supporters. Out of these two matches it is not the result only that counts but how we achieved it, managing to limit their best players".
"We matched Inter’s match on Wednesday, observed the impressive form of Eto’o and knew we could not concede the goals they scored against Werder. We are improving in all aspects and with a bit more luck, tonight we could have won".
